The Sponsored Projects Office is responsible for financial administration and reporting on grants and contracts. Sponsored Projects oversees grants and contracts amounting to around one third of the College’s revenues. Some of the major grants are listed below.

  • Land Grant Office Of Sustainability (LGOS) – Empowering the Tohono O’odham Nation’s citizens to reconnect to the Land, Language, and culture by embracing core values, preserving natural resources, and recognizing how our agricultural heritage informs our health and values. The LGOS is supported by U.S. Department of Agriculture Grants.

  • University of Arizona – A Student’s Journey (ASJ), is a program that is grant funded by the Agnese Nelms Haury Program for Social and Environmental Justice (Haury). It is a joint-collaboration between Tohono O’odham Community College (TOCC) and the Southwest Environmental Health Sciences Center (SWEHSC) at the University of Arizona.
